NRP:
Nanomedicines in Argentina
The projects in
NRP (Nanomedicine Research Program, at the Quilmes University,
Buenos Aires, Argentina) are focused on the design of nanomedicines
at the lab scale. Briefly, our main interest is the design
of more effective, less toxic therapeutic strategies against
life threatening or disabling diseases, by developing nano-controlled
drug release systems (nano-CDRS), to modify pharmacokinetics,
biodistribution, and intracellular transit / metabolization
of poorly effective, non selective and/ or highly toxic drugs.
